Course Terms and Conditions
Age
Individuals aged 14 and over are accepted for standard courses.
Group Size
The maximum group size for all types of courses does not exceed 14 people. The minimum group size is 4 people. The "Polyglot" Language School reserves the right to cancel a scheduled course if the minimum number of participants has not been enrolled by the end of the registration period.
Prices
The prices and discount terms valid at the time of registration apply. Textbooks are not included in the course fee unless otherwise stated.
Payment Terms
The full course fee is to be paid within the established deadlines (typically by the second lesson) via bank transfer. If payment is not made by the specified deadline, the individual forfeits the right to participate in the chosen course.
Switching to Another Course
Switching to another course with a change of level and/or schedule is possible until the end of the second week of classes, subject to availability and agreement with the teacher and the course administration. For underage students, parental or guardian consent is required.
Withdrawal and Refund
To withdraw from a course, a written statement in free form must be submitted to the "Polyglot" Language School. For underage participants, written consent from parents or guardians is required. Funds will be refunded in full, minus the cost of lessons that have already taken place in the group prior to the submission of the statement. In exceptional cases, the fee paid for course participation or an exam may be transferred to the next course or a subsequent exam date.
Certificate of Course Results
At the end of the course, participants receive a graded confirmation of their learning results. A mandatory requirement for receiving this certificate is regular attendance (typically no less than 70%).
Data Protection
Course participants voluntarily provide their personal data to enable the "Polyglot" Language School to carry out all formalities related to their course participation.
Liability
The "Polyglot" Language School shall not be liable, either for the organization as a whole or for its employees, if the failure to fulfill contractual obligations or any damage caused was due to force majeure circumstances. These include, but are not limited to: fire, flooding, extreme weather conditions or other natural disasters, explosion, strike, military action, mass unrest, and other circumstances beyond the control of the "Polyglot" Language School.
